As a proud supporter of Geff Frontier Days, TrustBank is sponsoring this year’s Car and Truck Show.  Look for our advertisement in the annual book produced for the event.

Each year, the Geff Ruritan Frontier Days is held during September.  Geff is located along Highway 45 between Cisne and Fairfield, Illinois. It is a farming community, and people enjoy taking time to visit with neighbors and friends. There is always great conversation, and you can catch up on the crops, the weather forecast, and the crop yields.

On Friday morning, booths and displays are set up. The Ruritan club serves sandwiches and cold drinks throughout the day. Games for the children start at 4:30 pm, and the crowning of the Little Miss Geff Frontier Days is at 7 pm.

On Saturday, there are games and contests in the morning. The Car and Truck Show begins at 8:30 am. Blacksmiths display their talents throughout the day.  Horse shoeing, cross-cut sawing, and washer pitching provide more fun-filled activities on Saturday. Everyone looks forward to the famous Ham & Bean Feed that starts at noon. The parade starts at 2:00 pm.  After the parade, children can enjoy water fights and pedal tractor pulls. At 7:00 pm, bring lawn chairs, sit down, and enjoy the music.
