JasonCOOJason Kern Promoted

Jason Kern has been promoted to Chief Operations Officer at TrustBank effective April 18, 2011.

Kern graduated from East Richland High School and Vincennes University with an Associate Degree in Laser/Electro-Optics.  Prior to coming to TrustBank, he worked for SDL, Inc. in San Jose, California, as an  R & D Technician, Eltra Systems, Inc. in Effingham, Illinois, as an Electronic/Mechanical Technician and T-Networks, Inc. in Allentown, Pennsylvania, as an Opto-Electronic Engineer.  Jason began working at TrustBank on June 13, 2005 as a Network Technician.  He was promoted to Information Technology Manager on November 4, 2005 and in 2010 was promoted to Operations Manager.

Jason and his wife, Peggy, reside in Olney with their son, Michael.  He is the son of Mike and Jan Kern.

NOTICE OF CHANGES IN TEMPORARY FDIC INSURANCE
COVERAGE FOR TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS

All funds in a "noninterest-bearing transaction account" are insured in full by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from December 31, 2010, through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to depositors under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.

The term "noninterest-bearing transaction account" includes a traditional checking account or demand deposit account on which the insured depository institution pays no interest. It also includes Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts ("IOLTAs"). It does not include other accounts, such as traditional checking or demand deposit accounts that may earn interest, NOW accounts and money-market deposit accounts.
