TrustBank employees Kurt Ginder, Network Administrator, and Billy Waddell, Network Technician attended the Community Bankers Association of Illinois (CBAI) “Community Bank Tech Conference,” on May 20, 2009. This one-day conference, held at the Crowne Plaza in Springfield, provided participants with targeted solutions to meet the demands of their community bank. Break-out sessions spotlighted mobile banking, vendor management, and answers to common technology questions. The conference also featured an opening general session which focused on card fraud and a closing session on the three best community bank technology investments. New this year, attendees were given the opportunity to discuss the most important technology issues during the Technology Networking Session. More than 20 financial-service providers showcased the latest in product offerings in the conference’s Exhibit Center.
The opening general session was conducted by Charles Burkhart, Fraud Operations Manager at SHAZAM/ITS, Inc. and the closing session by Brad Smith, President & CEO at Abound Resources. Break-out sessions were led by Cindi Lieblich, Vice President, FundsXpress/First Data Corporation; Dan Hadaway, Managing Partner, infotex; and Mark Scholl, Executive Officer, Lindgren, Callihan, Van Osdol & Co., Ltd..
