Directors' Seminar

Bruce A. Runyon, William R. Chandler, Eddie L. Burgener and Martin
W. Atwood of TrustBank attended the Community Bankers
Association of Illinois (CBAI) "Directors' Seminar",
on Wednesday, November 30, 2005. This one-day seminar, held at
the Crowne Plaza
in Springfield, was designed to help community bank directors better
meet their duties and responsibilities. Topics covered included
high performance investment portfolios, incentive programs, and
staff motivation. Risk management programs, as well as community
bank technology, were also covered.
The seminar
was led by Ed Krei, director of asset/liability strategies for
THE BAKER GROUP, Oklahoma City, OK, a preferred provider of asset/liability
investment services; Ann Brode, founder of Brode Financial Services,
a bank consulting firm located in Ravenna, OH; and Lee Wetherington,
senior vice president of Goldleaf Technologies, Hihira, GA, the
leading provider of electronic payment systems and website design
services to independent financial institutions.
Headquartered
in Springfield, CBAI is a statewide association representing
more than 500 community banks and thrifts in Illinois.
