Directors' Conference

C.L. Glover, Michael Doll, Deborah Mitchell, and Emily Stephenson
of TrustBank attended the Community Bankers Association of Illinois
(CBAI) "Directors' Conference", on Wednesday, December
6, 2006. This one-day seminar, held at the Crowne Plaza in Springfield,
was designed to help community bank directors better meet their
duties and responsibilities. Key topics included a banking and
economic outlook, corporate governance, problem loans and the
concerned stockholder, enhancing stockholder value, and working
with regulators.
The seminar was led by S. Scott MacDonald, President and CEO, of
SW Graduate School of Banking Foundation and Adjunct Professor
of Finance, Edwin L. Cox School of Business, Southern Methodist
University, Dallas TX.; Jeffrey Gerrish, a member of the Memphis-based
law firm of Gerrish McCreary Smith, P.C., Attorneys, and Chairman
of the board of Gerrish McCreary Smith Consultants L.L.C.; and
Philip Smith a member of the board of directors of Gerrish McCreary
Smith, P.C., Attorneys.
Headquartered in Springfield, CBAI is a statewide association representing
more than 500 community banks and thrifts in Illinois.
