(March 1, 1999)
Bruce A. Runyon, President and Chief Executive Officer of Olney Trust
Bank announced today that the Bank's Board of Directors has approved
a change in the Bank's name to "TrustBank". Mr. Runyon said
that the name change would take effect April 1, 1999.
The Bank's directors wanted to make it clear that the Bank's market
area extends beyond the city limits of Olney to a number of surrounding
communities. For that reason the Board of Directors decided to adopt
a new name with a distinctive spelling that will more fully reflect
a broad customer base.
The Bank is still owned by Rich Land Bancorp, Inc.
No change of ownership has occurred. Mr. Runyon emphasized that
this name change will have no affect on the Bank's current customers.
All existing checks and other documents will continue to be valid.
The Bank will gradually implement the change on new checks, accounts
and loans.
"We are
very excited about the new name. TrustBank is unique, easy to remember
and better evidences our ability and desire to serve all the residents
of Richland and surrounding counties," concluded Mr. Runyon.
