Master of Banking Diploma

Bruce A. Runyon, President and CEO, TrustBank in Olney, IL and Tempe, AZ was awarded a Professional Master of Banking degree from the Executive Banking Institute on May 9, 2007 in Scottsdale, Arizona, along with CEOs, presidents and senior executives from leading community banks from across the nation. The focus of this executive program is to enhance the ability of community banks to better serve their customers and communities and find solutions to their banking needs.

This unique banking school for bank CEOs and senior executive managers was developed by Sheshunoff Management Services in conjunction with The Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. In three, one-week semesters over a 12-month period, the participating executives developed and implemented specific action plans for their own banks. The graduates concentrated on innovative ways to capitalize on the latest technology and business strategies, while emphasizing exceptional customer service.

According to Gabrielle Sheshunoff, CEO of Sheshunoff Management Services, “Community banks are focusing on providing highly personalized banking services, something that seems to be disappearing in today’s mass merchandising environment.”
