On
February 26, 2011, five teams of TrustBank™ employees
slipped on their bowling shoes and joined in the Big Brothers
Big Sisters
Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraising event. This is a fun event
marked by pizza, T-Shirts, lane prizes, and plenty of exuberant
bowling.
The money raised by the event is used to support the Big Brothers
Big Sisters program here in Richland
County.
Children and youth up to age eighteen are paired with adult mentors
who will be able to have a positive influence on their
lives.
In addition to the traditional program, our local chapter offers
a school program in which mentors meet with the kids during school
hours. This program involves students in kindergarten through sixth
grade.
