 Farm Safety 4 Just Kids

TrustBank is proud to be a sponsor of an event that teaches area kids how to live and play safely in agricultural environments. Every August, kids from all over the county come to the Olney City Park to attend the Farm Safety 4 Just Kids day camp. This is a day filled with fun, games, food, and tips about how to stay safe when around farm equipment. The 2011 event was well-attended and enjoyed by 270 kids. The children visited booths where they learned about issues such as sun safety, proper hand washing techniques, and safety around flowing grain.

“Country kids” and “city kids” alike are invited to attend this yearly event. For more details, contact Jane Graves at (618) 392-7141 Extension 100 (or email: jane.graves@il.usda.gov); or call the Richland County Farm Bureau at (618) 393-4116.

NOTICE OF CHANGES IN TEMPORARY FDIC INSURANCE
COVERAGE FOR TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS

All funds in a "noninterest-bearing transaction account" are insured in full by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from December 31, 2010, through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to depositors under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.

The term "noninterest-bearing transaction account" includes a traditional checking account or demand deposit account on which the insured depository institution pays no interest. It also includes Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts ("IOLTAs"). It does not include other accounts, such as traditional checking or demand deposit accounts that may earn interest, NOW accounts and money-market deposit accounts.

For more information about temporary FDIC insurance coverage of transaction accounts, visit www.fdic.gov.
