to live and play safely in agricultural environments. Every August,
kids from all over the county come to the Olney City Park to attend
the Farm Safety 4 Just Kids day camp. This is a day filled with
fun, games, food, and tips about how to stay safe when around
farm
equipment. The 2011 event was well-attended and enjoyed by 270
kids. The children visited booths where they learned about issues
such
as sun safety, proper hand washing techniques, and safety around
flowing grain.
“Country
kids” and “city kids” alike are invited to
attend this yearly event.
